a) You wanted to raise awareness by brutalizing a fictional character
b) plus you wrote "Reid from Criminal Minds gets raped by a bad guy" which is so common it's a well-mocked trope

Also, what is with the trend (lately?) with NCIS fics where Gibbs starts acting like a sniffly little Emo girl?
